ASIA PACIFIC BEHAVIOURAL AND ADDICTION MEDICINE CONFERENCE

Dear Friends,

We are pleased to announce the 4th Asia Pacific Behavioural and Addiction Medicine (APBAM) Conference 2016.

We have chosen Borneo, Kota Kinabalu as the venue for the first APBAM regional conference. The theme of this conference is on alcohol and addictions and the collaboration with APCB, Solace Sabah and The Intervention Group for Alcohol Misuse is in response to the need to strengthen the capabilities of professionals in the region who work with persons with alcohol and other addictions. The conference aims to equip professionals with knowledge and practical skills through 2-day pre-conference workshops and a 2-day conference.

We have invited speakers with specialisation in addiction work to anchor the workshops and conference. The organising committee looks forward to host you and hope that this would provide a good platform and opportunity for you to network with fellow professionals working with persons with addictions and their families.

We look forward to seeing you at the conference.
