Each year at the annual APSAD Conference, the EMCR Subcommittee hosts a dedicated networking event that brings together PhD students, EMCRs and early-career clinicians embarking on research from across the country. Importantly, the event creates a welcoming space for those who may be geographically isolated or working within smaller research groups to connect with a broader community.
The program features informal presentations from leaders in the AOD sector, who share practical insights and their top tips for building a successful career. Attendees have ample opportunity to network with peers, exchange ideas, gain valuable advice, and explore new collaborations and career pathways in a supportive and dynamic environment.
This year's event will be held at the APSAD 2026 Perth Conference.
